Hey guys, I'm from the USA and I've enrolled at Saarland University for Winter 2026. I've applied for student housing in the dormitories, when can I expect to hear back? Also, should I rely on student dorms (since I've heard that wait times are at least 1-2 semesters, which is scary) or start looking elsewhere? Any tips? Thank you!!

Hi guys, I earned my high school and Bachelor's diplomas in the USA. So on my Trier application, for my university entrance qualification (high school diploma) and Bachelor's GPA/grade, would it be my USA version or converted into German version? I've emailed the uni and haven't gotten a response.
I've found many sources with conflicting information...but from the wording, I think university entrance qualification grade/GPA would be in German mode (because it says "grade" specifically, not GPA) and Bachelor's would be in USA mode (since it says "given on your transcript of records"). Is this right? Here is the wording:

Hi guys, is there anywhere I can access hot glue on campus? Like wheelhouse studios, etc.? I wanted to decorate my cap and realized I needed hot glue but not enough to buy a gluegun and sticks (I just need a LITTLE bit). Thanks!
