I live in western Washington state, a place famous for its beautiful landscapes and more importantly, its very damp weather. Older cars don’t typically fare well due to rusting and other issues that typically plague older cars. However, I have noticed that the 2nd generation Escape is quite a common sight where I live. These cars aren’t that old, but Fords of their age are not exactly a common sight, especially in comparison to more reliable Japanese cars. There are 3 of these in my school’s parking lot as well as many more that scatter my area. Therefore, I must ask if these cars have an unknown reputation for being a solid car or am I just noticing these more in particular?
I couldn’t be bothered to export it properly so here’s a screen recording
