Advice needed: Ride 19 vs Endorphin Azura
So in the last few months, I started being more interested in running and ran a few times with my dog. Came to the conclusion that my really old running shoes won't cut it anymore.
After a fair bit of research (runrepeat is amazing), I narrowed it down to Saucony for my first real pair of running shoes, since I do have pretty neutral feet with the need for a somewhat bigger toe area. Weight is also around 200lbs.
Today I got to try on both of the above and got the size issue out of the way. Ended up being a perfect 10,5 US (44,5 EU), only thing I'm not 100% sure about is which model to get. I plan on starting with 5k runs with the goal of running 3 10k's a week eventually. I am also going to be running about 50% on hardpack roads and think that a regular road shoe will do just fine on those.
While trying them on, I noticed how nice the rocker(?) feels. It felt amazing since I've never had anything similar. For that reason, I'm leaning heavily towards the Azura right now.
If anyone has any insights regarding these shoes or maybe even other suggestions, I would be glad to hear them!
