This will be my first time visiting Bangkok, so I’m not very familiar with the arrival process.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to obtain Thai Baht in my country before departure, so I will be arriving with USD cash. As I understand it, I will need to pay the 2,000 THB Visa on Arrival fee for a stay of less than 15 days.
Are there any currency exchange counters available before immigration/Visa on Arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) where I can exchange USD for THB to pay the visa fee? How do other tourists do this? Any tips?
