I probably will be deleting this later today but I just need to rant.

My husband has been working for walmart since 2017 ans I have been with walmart since 2018. Walmart has treated us so good in the beginning. But ever since last year we have been struggling. Especially this year since we got the new ceo. My husband works evening shifts and I work morning shift. We have 2 kids at home and one is staring school this coming school year. We recently got a new car because my 12 year old car is near it's end of times. Our paycheck with me part time and him full time have been pretty decent. We have been able to make it work. Paycheck to paycheck with maybe a little something extra some checks. But boy these past few months have been something else walmart. I have been blessed that if I get assigned a new schedule with low hours our people lead has been able to assign me shift but then they stopped helping. Then I would turn to my coach and they stopped helping after a few weeks. And I get it walmart having my availability very closed off doesn't help my case. But I dont even ask for a lot of hours anyways, so why not assign hours my way? 20 hrs a week is all I ask. And yet yall claim we are in a hiring freeze and cant hire but then the following week yall having orientation? For associates doing what im positioned to do? That im trained for.

Next week I have ZERO hours. I asked for help for more hours and now they are saying they cant adjust schedules anymore for thre next few weeks. The whole month of June we had to pay double rent since we got paid in the beginning of the month and the end. With the hours I got we didnt get to pay one bill. So now we are behind. We actually got insta pay out so we could pay for out groceries while we were paying it. Im already reaching out to organizations to help out to pay that bill i didnt pay for and that could take up to six weeks to get approved.

Im already trying to see what im going. To pay with this next paycheck. That money is already spent and I haven't received it yet. Your playing with peoples money and lives. I get yall want to get better payouts, bonuses, and raises but I rather have my steady hours than I measly yearly bonus at this point.

I understand you are all a big industry but you all claim to be about the associates just a couple.weeks ago and then turn your backs and cut our hours? All I ask you with the respect I still have for you and with a little disappointment to think of all your associates and the lives you are affecting with hours being cut.

Because the sales are there and the profits as well.

And i can make this so much longer but I wont bore you guys much.

Sorry guys but I kust had to rant and just hope someone sees this.
