Today’s workout (8/20) a total flop for anyone else?

hate to be a harpy but what the actual. Super weird compound movements that didn’t seem to work my core literally at all?

I’d rather have done scissor kicks and dead bugs for 45 mins than whatever tf that was.

I’m so sick of eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, and shrimp.

Just a vent. I get a ton of whole food but I’m currently 5 weeks into a very solid recomp and holy hell I am literally choking down foods to meet protein goals.

It’s almost hitting pregnancy aversion levels for any of you who have ever been pregnant. (I’m not)

The only other options really are shakes and bone broth and whatnot as supplemental proteins but the bulk of my meals are getting so gross day in day out. idk how anyone actually does this.

To beat a dead horse…. Childwatch

I know rates are set per gym bc it’s a franchise but it is actually insane to me how the $125/month membership includes childwatch for an infinite number of kids.

Theres a several ladies who work out at my gym and each have 5 or 6 kids apiece. there’s only 17 child watch spaces available per session at my gym. If two or three of them work out on the same day they’re taking nearly all of the fucking spots, if not actually all of them. we only have 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 with childwatch and it fill up SO fast until it’s 15 mins before a camp and the spots open up but it’s not enough time to get MY two kids loaded up and down there before the doors close.

idk, it just seems unfair that we’re all paying the same rate. If they paid per kid, ok fine.… but like flat rate for infinite number of kids….seriously?!

Are yalls gyms like this? I’m considering withdrawing from my contract because unless I’m up at midnight I can hardly snag any childwatch spots, ever.
