How to non-destructively open this alarm panel (Code 207 wafer lock)? No key left by previous owners

Hi all,

I recently moved into a new house and need to access our alarm system panel, but the previous owners did not leave the key.

  • The goal: I want to open the panel non-destructively so I can inspect the main board and see if I can integrate the system into Home Assistant. If that doesn't work out, my partner wants us to activate a standard contract with the alarm company, so keeping the lock and enclosure 100% intact is essential because I'm not 100% sure the company has the key
  • Lock details: It is a standard small wafer/cam lock stamped with code 207.

Is there a common master/universal key profile available for this type of 207 alarm enclosure lock, or what is the easiest non-destructive bypass method (e.g. SPP, raking, jiggling)?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Need placement advice for new setup: 2x S340, 1x E340 Doorbell, HomeBase 3

Hey guys,

I'm looking for some advice on camera placement for my new home with a Eufy bundle I just bought. The bundle contains two SoloCam S340 cameras, one Video Doorbell E340, and a HomeBase 3.

In the attached pictures, I've marked what I think are the best locations to cover all potential entry points into the home.

Because the S340 features a 360-degree pan-and-tilt design, I was initially thinking of ordering two aftermarket 90-degree corner wall mounts. This would give the cameras total freedom to spin around a physical corner and see both intersecting sides of the house. However, I’m worried they will stick out like a sore thumb if I mount them that far out. And I would rather not have angry neighbours the first month we move in

I have a couple of specific questions for anyone with experience using these:

  1. Camera 1 (Front/Garage Corner): If I flush-mount this directly to the flat wall near the corner without a special 90-degree corner mount, am I still going to be able to pan over and see the garage? Or will the physical corner of the house completely block the view?
  2. Camera 2 (Back/Veranda): Do you think this spot is optimal for covering both the veranda entry and the back doors simultaneously?

What do you guys think of this layout? Do you have any better suggestions or alternative mounting ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help!
