I am currently a cosmetology student, I'm in a 1500 hour program and am about a little halfway through it and I am just so incredibly burnt out and exhausted. I experience little to no joy whatsoever in what I do when I'm there. I love doing hair, I absolutely love it, but when I am there I just feel so drained and soulless. I have little friends and I honestly keep myself incredibly reserved. I used to be the biggest extrovert and used to talk to everyone but this place stole so much of my energy. I can't imagine myself doing anything else but I am just so tired and sad and burnt out. Theres a multitude of problems + issues at my school, which I know isnt uncommon for cosmo schools, but its just another addition to my misery. I want it to be over and I'm trying so hard to stay motivated but the end just seems so far away. I don't know what to do anymore, I want this so bad but its destroying me. I guess this is a vent, maybe a plead for advice.
