I see that the auto adjustments are in half point increments, but I can only make full point adjustments. I think my perfect number is 0.5, but I can’t set that.

I got the Eight Sleep because menopause has destroyed my temperature regulation. I fall asleep no problem, but then I wake up hot so I take off the covers. Then I get cold so I put the covers back on, then I get hot and the cycle repeats all night.

I had found a somewhat decent solution if I set the thermostat to 65, but I was still doing covers off/on a few times a night. I was hoping active control of the bed temperature would be the ultimate solution.

After my first night I found that -1 is definitely too cold, 0 is borderline too cold and 1 is eventually too hot. :-(

and when I have a hot flash, I need the covers off immediately and by the time the hot flash mode kicks in, it’s too late, I‘ve mostly cooled off already and it just makes me cold.

I’m going to keep trying, I know there is an adjustment period, but I’m no longer optimistic about this solution for my circumstances.

we have a water softener for the house, is that good enough or should I buy distilled water.

I finally pulled the trigger and placed my order today. I current have a wool mattress pad on my bed that I really like. Do I put this over the Eight Sleep or do I just not need a mattress pad anymore?

I’m very interested in getting an eight sleep, but I definitely don’t want the bed to start warming up at dawn, which it seems like would be around 3am for me. This is exactly around the time I usually wake up because I’m too hot. I would much prefer to be able to program the bed the same way I program my ecobee. I want to set as many time segments as I need and set the temperature for each segment. Is that possible with this hardware?
