Video proving DRM is to blame for the poor performance of Tokon on PC

The Steam version vs the recently released (cough) Offline version (cough). The games runs 35 percent faster and uses 2GB less RAM. The guy cant even run the Steam version of the game at 60FPS, it floats between 40 - 45, but in the "offline" version it hits 60 no problem.

Arcades in Ireland in 1981, and how at one point most of Europe’s Atari, Namco and Midway cabinets were made there.

The host Vincent Hanley (RIP) looks a little too excited towards the end of that game of space invaders 😆.

At 2:23 they mention how the cabinets were made in Tipperary. There's an excellent blog about it here

And also this site here

They still made cabinets up until the late 90s although I think they were exclusively for Namco, their logo was on the side of the building at that time. I also seem to remember that most of the PAL Sega Saturn games were made in Ireland too.
