Protected Bike Lane in Prairie Village

I was wondering what people would think of a potential protected bike lane on Mission Road from 63rd street to either 75th street or 79th. I believe that if they were to convert this road from a 4 lane road to a 3 lane road with the central lane being a turn lane, we could create a protected 2 way bike path that would encourage the surrounding community to bike more. With the proximity of so many schools to mission road, I believe that parents and school children would bike to the shops at prairie village and school. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and suggestions about potentially approaching this.

Potential Protected Bike Lane in Prairie Village

Hi everyone,

I am a current Prairie Village resident and I was wondering what people would think of a potential protected bike lane on Mission Road from 63rd street to either 75th street or 79th. I believe that if they were to convert this road from a 4 lane road to a 3 lane road with the central lane being a turn lane, we could create a protected 2 way bike path that would encourage the surrounding community to bike more. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and suggestions about potentially approaching this.
