Pleaaseee let us have dictate in the free version pleaseee

I have a potato laptop, running zen browser (already ram hungry) along with raycast AND wispr flow will melt my laptop. Ofcourse such an ask cannot be just dictated on one person's request. So i wish to have a petition maybe, so that the people at raycast can hear our broke requests and maybe consider having dictate in the free version.

And, maybe if raycast can have feature wise pricing, so like instead of me subscribing for the whole pro tier, if i can just pay for a considered fee for a singular feature (like dictate maybe), that'd be pretty rad too :P

Feature Request for Raycast Windows | Temporary Shelf (for easy imports into other apps)

I think maybe having this feature would be quite a nice upgrade for users

How to revert to default raycast from whatever theme you have chosen | Raycast Windows

hey, i helped a friend today with downloading and setting up raycast, i added another one to the army. While all this was fun, i saw that raycast's done a real good job with the glass theme.

I have been using themes from the theme studio and i thought, "Hey, i'd like to use the glassy raycast too for a while". But i cant seem to find the setting to go back though.

If someone could help me it'd be great. Thank you.

what do analyst or equivalent freshers work and train on after joining?

Asking if they have a specific tech stack or some skill they make freshers train on or work on. It'd be great not going in blind when we ultimately join.

Raycast for Windows | Focus Video Demo

While there is a video on focus being used in MacOS, there are a few things i would love a demo for from the team. They're as followed:

  1. How to block steam and steam games (i could only find "steam support center" in the options to block apps) (i guess the same goes for epic games or any launcher and the games they hold)
  2. How to utilize blocking or allowing specific sites on a browser (while i use Zen Browser which too is in beta, I'd still like a video demo of how to use the feature in browsers)
  3. While there is an option to block/allow keywords like "Streaming", "Gaming", etc. I do not know how to actually use those, i tried having those keywords blocked but i was able to watch streams, yt videos, open games.
  4. Since Zen browser has a feature called "Workspaces" where there can be different profiles (personal/work/shopping/etc) is there a way i can block specific workspaces and work only on the ones allowed. that way i can better focus on my work profile without getting distracted by my personal profile which i use for streaming and surfing the internet

Obviously some of these are a bit specific to my use cases but i am sure a few points or atleast the gist of it is general enough for a video demo to be considered.

Please discuss more use cases of the new Focus feature that you would like to get a demo of or guidance about. I am grateful for the new feature as i really needed it. Having a focus bar really helps you stay grounded and keep being productive. Huge shoutout to the team.

How to create an automation of running terminal commands

https://preview.redd.it/pwz6af4r2q3h1.png?width=1041&format=png&auto=webp&s=f8bac1fdb8ed34e762567acffbdcd15bc1d20c0e

So i use Jupyter Lab/Notebook quite a lot, and its kinda annoying to open the directory, running terminal on it and then typing jupyter lab/notebook in the terminal window.

on it and then typing jupyter lab/notebook in the terminal window. Is there anyway that i can automate this, something like using a hotkey so that it runs the command "jupyter lab" on the directory that is open in my file explorer?

Resizing Raycast for Windows Notes Window

It's been a while since i have used raycast notes, as i just now use the extension for obsidian to take my quick little notes. I remember distinctively that you could only resize the raycast notes window to a certain width. I was just using it now and i tried to resize it, to my surprise it did resize to a smaller window size from what i remember. But as i started typing i saw that on smaller window sizes/widths, the text was not being wrapped (I have attached a video demo too). I think its just a small little bug, but thought i'd bring it to attention.

Also do let me know if this is just the case for me, maybe then i will have to sift through my extensions/theme to see if its any of those are causing it

Please please please add Focus to Raycast Windows

Either add focus or please make the pomodoro extension available for windows, it'd be a great feature to have. Currently i have to utilize 2 different apps, raycast and windowsill (for the pomodoro feature). I wish to reduce the use of windowsill as it's a little unnecessary, as Raycacst does everything that windowsill does and more.
