Struggles as a new diabetic
Im not looking for advice at all, just ranting. was diagnosed with diabetes roughly 3 months ago, where I went to the hospital with diabetic ketoacidosis. Coming out of the hospital and starting insulin was the best feeling in my entire life. I was doing very good exercising every day handling the situation completely fine. Now things have completely changed. A couple weeks ago my legs started hurting badly out of nowhere and this has completely sent me back. It’s like a switch that went off over night. I am missing a significant amount of time at work going to doctors and getting different tests done to find out what the cause of the pain is. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find ointments medicines and remedies for the pain. I’ve been tested with an ultrasound and d dimer for blood clots, and artery disease and nothing came up. My doctor keeps telling me I’m too young to have neuropathy and keeps trying all types of different things. I’m just completely frustrated. This is ruining my life. The leg pain has made it to where I can barely sleep at night. I’m losing money every single day. It’s getting harder to pay the bills and keep up with managing my diabetes. I just don’t know what could have caused this pain.
