I was never a huge AiC fan but i really liked Jar of Flies when it was initially released. Until it showed up in my feed a few days ago I hadn’t listened to it once in 25 or so years. This relatively quiet (by AiC standards) masterpiece has been on a constant loop thepast 3-4 days. Where does it rank in the Alice in Chains discography for the rest of you?

I don’t use this sub-reddit much so I’m sure this has been posted and it’s not new to anyone but me but I just realized the names of the Surface shrines and the Lightroots are mirror images of each other.
Today I learned the hard way that Liberty Mutual uses Actual Cash Value when calculating how much they will pay for roof replacement. My roof is 11 years old and according to Liberty Mutual the roof has depreciated 30% which means they will only pay me 70% of the cost to replace it (after the 2% deductible). This reduced how much they will cover towards the roof’s replacement by almost $6k
I get using depreciation for cars. If I total my 7 years old car I can replace it with another 7 year old car but I can’t replace my 10 year old roof with another 10 year old roof.
Learn from my mistakes and if you’re looking to change your carrier make sure you check how they will be calculating home repair estimates

I failed to mention I’m replacing my roof because of severe damage from hail. I am not replacing it because I had nothing better to do with my money. Not sure if this changes the responses from all of you but thought I’d add that one important detail
