Are there any modern "wall of sound" approach bands that don't suck?

Hi, I'm asking here because I don't know where else I can.

Do you know any modern bands that have that wall of sound typical of Smashing Pumpkins, Hum, Failure and My Bloody Valentine for example, that are actually good and not just a nasty copy of some 90's bands?

Last kiss hate

I feel like online I see a lot of hate for Pearl Jams Last kiss which really confuses me because I absolutely love this song. So I guess I’m just curious for anyone here who doesn’t like this song, why? Is it just overplayed? Let me know.

What’s your instant skip grunge or grunge-adjacent song?

Unpopular opinions welcome. For me, probably Lightning Crashes by Live or if that’s not technically grunge or whatever, Spoonman by Soundgarden. Both instant skips for me. I don’t know what it is about Spoonman that I hate but it just seems so forced. Like, let’s be edgy, here’s this guy that plays spoons. Lightning Crashes is just cringey to me, and everyone I knew was obsessed with that song when it came out.

Rough breakup

26 year old male going through a really tough break up. Been listening to grunge music for the first time. For example been really liking Dexter and the Moonrocks. Would love to branch out and listen to similar bands or artist. Appreciate any recommendations. Thanks y’all.

How would the grunge scene change if Kurt joined soundgarden as their bass player?

I know it's a bit corny thought, but the idea of Kurt joining soundgarden as their bass player in 1990 really could change the current era of music. Presuming he gets the role which seems unlikely, the only chance is that Chris was a massive fan of bleach. The idea of kurt bringing some of the nevermind songs to soundgarden really changes the dynamic of the band and music. Maybe Kurt sings on a few tracks and does backing vocals. Changing soundgarden closer to the beatles. With Nevermind not coming out pearl jam becomes the top grunge band. Nevermind never creates the massive explosion of grunge as well.

The Ill Gotten Vine

This is a two piece grunge band that was blossomed out of a ton of use of this substance. It’s just a 15 min ep that was intended to be a whole album called xylem and phloem. I hope you enjoy!

How do people like Courtney love as a person

I've honestly seen a ton of support for love on here and I just genuinely don't understand it she loved Kurt very much all the conspiracy theories Abt that are bullshit. But right after he died taking the actual members to court to try and control what nirvana put out from then on out just isn't right. and then making a claim grohl was hitting on Kurt's daughter which Frances came out and said was false and was clearly very upset her mom would even say that. and she just publicly shits on modern artists on Twitter to make herself feel better like how she told lana del rey to quit for 7 years and telling Taylor Swift she wasnt important. And saying Olivia Rodrigo's album was plagiarized from live through this even tho the only similarity is the colour purple. Her name is circled in the Epstein black book not criminal but with the rest of the people in that black book that are known Epstein pals it's a horrible look and she is a rape victim who stands for woman who is friends with Marilyn Manson and went to his birthday party She is clearly a very broken person who in my opinion does not sound good and thinks she's more important to music then she is. So my question is why do so many support her I'm the grunge world

Recommendation of the day.

An incredible album by Ben Shepherd—Soundgarden's bassist—featuring the brilliant side project Hater; in my opinion, it is highly recommended WONDERFUL album.
