Pizza in Castello

Have been visiting Venice for a few days now for the Biennale and having such a great time. I‘ve yet to have any pizza though(!) and tonight I‘m keen to get some.

The question is: where to have pizza in Castello (am staying here)? Happy to walk elsewhere and if it’s quieter for a Sunday evening that would be great.

Indecision on buying… X-T50 vs x-E5 vs ?

I have had my X-T20 for 8 years now and it’s done me good but it’s definitely reached its end.

My requirements are: a camera that can give me an all-round experience, lightweight and just for photos - not needed really for filming. Less concerned about budget.

X-E5, I’m immediately drawn to because of the design and how sleek it looks. I tried one today and my biggest concern was the placement and size of the view finder, it’s really small and not being centralised felt strange after my T20.

T-50, nice and lightweight, compact design, obviously very similar to my T20. I don’t really like the inbuilt flash and it does take away from the design but it is a clear step up from my T20. Viewfinder felt nicer as did the grip although the smaller size will take adjustment.

X-100VI, has a much bigger viewfinder which appeals and I really like the design but I’m not sure how I feel about a fixed lens. Although on my T20 I have basically stuck with a 35mm 1:2 lens the entire time. So… maybe there is merit in the 100VI?

Would love to hear some thoughts and suggestions. Am I missing something? What should I be really questioning here?

First time at Venice Biennale - Top Tips

I’ve wanted to visit the Biennale for years now and have booked myself a long weekend visit at the start of July. Having never been before but with a basic understanding of how it operates (pavilions, locations, joint tickets) I’d love to hear what your top tips are for a newbie.

What would your best advice be for a first timer?
