Following a Panda Cory

Seems like a long journey for a little Cory but it was really about 25cm along the tank 😄

Another Orange Venezuelan

These guys are really good quality tank bred Corys imported from Czechia. I will be off back to the LFS tomorrow to pick up however many they have left 😍

Panda Corys

Finally, a Panda Cory let me put my camera up to the glass without darting for cover.

I was impressed with the quality of these guys so went back to the LFS to get the rest of the ones they had in.... obviously the LFS was impressed too as one of the employees had bought the rest 😂

L260 Queen Arabesque

Latest addition to my setup, she came last week. She is around 8cm or so. Has been feeding well on a mixture of carnivore pellets and spirulina flakes...absolutely devoured some California Blackworm this morning. Ember Tetra were not accommodating enough to move out of the way unfortunately.

Colourful midsize Pleco suggestions please

I am coming back to keeping plecos after some hiatus. Looking for suggestions on colourful specimens which are up to 8 inches. Please nothing too aggressive as there will be multiple plecos in the tank, also why I don't want 12 inch giants.

Currently in tank:

  • Standard bristlenose
  • Black and Orange bristlenose
  • L200 Green Phantom
  • L260 Queen Arabesque

I have previously kept, and not interested in repeating, the following:

  • L204 Flash
  • L134 Leopard Frog
  • L052 Butterfly
  • L239 Blue Panaque

So suggestions of something not listed above, under 8 inches, and colourful please.

Venezuelan Orange just added

Just got these to go with Salt & Peppers, Pandas, Juliis and Sterbas in my 310 litre / 81 US Gal tank.

Last kept Corys ~15 years ago and I am enjoying finding varieties which weren't available back then. I have a long shopping list which I'm working through and aiming for around 30 Corys in this tank.

Will post some better quality photos another time, they are only around 1.5cm at the moment, so difficult to get them.
