What does pattern mean by “purl to beginning of round” after a turn?

Major newbie to knitting🙈! (first project)
I started with the magic loop technique on the Wave Tee by Petite Knit, and I’m really stuck on this section of the directions (so far I’ve gotten up to k3 in row 1, so the next step I need to do is turn — I’ve included a pic of my work on the right side and wrong side currently, and the pattern instruction)

I understand that “turn” means to do a German short row (which I’m still trying to fully learn the steps for). And if I’m also understanding correctly, what should be happening in these steps is that I’ll essentially be knitting a flat back and forth section(?) — however, I am not sure what “purl to beginning of round” indicates in this context? I’m not seeing a point on my work that would to make sense as the “round” start (also since I’m only a few stitches away from my next stitch marker, which it says to purl up to in the next step). The next row has the same command except with knitting instead of purling

Normally I would I think round refers to knitting around the entire work once, but I’m assuming that’s not the case here

Sorry I hope this made sense and am happy to clarify further, I am extremely new to this! Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to help me out!
