Hi everyone! I’m relatively new to the Waynesboro area and looking for some fun things to do this fall, especially anything Halloween or horror-related!
I love spooky stuff, haunted houses, ghost tours, horror movies, pumpkin patches, apple picking, fall festivals, scenic drives, and anything with a good autumn atmosphere. Some of the things I’ve found are $30 for a haunted house so that’s a bit new to me to see a price that high.. but yet again, I’m new here.
I’m especially interested in inexpensive or free activities, hidden gems, and places locals love that might not show up on Google.
I’m happy to drive to Staunton, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lexington, or other surrounding areas.
Any recommendations for October or even into November? I’d love to hear about anything fun, unusual, creepy, or just worth checking out! 🎃

Hi- we just moved here from another state and we have this patio attached to the house in the back and i cannot find a contractor- we are in waynesboro and its an 18 ft by 14 ft brick deck raised up from the ground with a wooden walkway and the floor is a nice painted cement- all we want is for it to get a roof and have it screened in- does anyone have any legit suggestions of a fully licensed and reputable place in waynesboro/fishersville area that is normal and kind and will actually show up to give us a quote? thank you!!!!!
