Are you excited for Pride? And what are you wearing?

So one of the Pride Celebrations I attend is in NYC. So yes, last year it was Hot in the City, in so many ways! But can we keep the jockstraps at Bay? I have not seen plain jockstraps (almost naked), but last year, these Men were wearing jockstraps underneath large weave booty/hot shorts.

So I hope you all Celebrate Pride in your own ways!

CompTIA A+ certification is it worth it?

So my class and I are all on a scholarship, which means we are not paying a dime for the classes or the exams. I believe we get 5 free exams as part of the scholarships! We just started the classes this week, but the instructors are not very enthused by our futures. Yesterday, we were all told we need to start looking for jobs. This is a 12 week class so every week for have to apply to a minimum of that number weeks class, so this week 1+ jobs, next week 2+ jobs until the very last week 12+jobs. So we all got concerned about losing our scholarships if we get jobs. Our instructors said no one is likely to get a job until after the 12 weeks are over, unless we get a Job AT Wendy's. And then they said if you do get a job at Wendy's Take It!

So we left class yesterday, we are all remote, with WTF? Plus, our very first class this week even if we get both certifications the best we will get is contract work, which is fine, but then they said it could take years to get a full time permanent role.

So our class is kinda like, why are you "teaching" if you both went through the program, but not working in IT. We did a break out yesterday afternoon and some of us are like is this certification too old, in light of AI and cybersecurity? So if you are certified are you working, and was it worth it?
