Question regarding Cumulative Updates

I feel stupid asking this but

Some background:

Hybrid CVAD DAAS environment MCS persistent clones from a golden image.

Is it impossible to patch these with a MSU downloaded from MS? I have tried everything and they fail no matter what. I have not dug into the logs too much yet but I did notice that in CVAD virtualization station it says "not able to receive updates from windows update"

Maybe this is why? though I am downloading the MSU and trying to patch locally...

Dosage check

In month 4
Vials are the following
And dosage says:

Weeks 1-4: Inject 0.61 mL [61 units] subcutaneously once weekly. Weeks 5-8: Inject 0.75 mL [75 units] subcutaneously once weekly. Weeks 9-12: Inject 0.83 mL [83 units] subcutaneously once weekly

Does this look correct? Just making sure.

Quick check:

I need to change ips of our hosts (3) and didnt want to have to migrate vms around. I should be ok to remove the host from the hosts gui and then re-ip and re-add back right?

Is there any negative to this vs migrating everything off and doing it naturally?
