I want to begin reading philosophy . Can anyone recommend a book that will be a good beginning?

I recently bought The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman. I’m interested in becoming more rational and changing the way I think about things. For those who have read it, what did you think of the book? Did you actually find it useful or change the way you think in any way?

So I want to learn kickboxing, but the problem is I weigh 43 kg and my height 168 cm I don’t know if it’s a problem but I heard that kickboxing will make me lose weight. I don’t want to lose weight so I don’t know what to do because I really love kickboxing I want to be able to learn a good so I don’t know. Can you give me some advice please??
