10/10 for me. Chill, melodic, crunchy. Each track is strong.

Yo. So I started this radio show just about a year ago now as a new creative outlet, but mostly to rationalize my addiction to buying vinyl and audiophile gear. I’m a guitar player by trade, so the idea is that these are the records that inspire me. “Bass, breaks, and the records that shaped me”.

I bring on guest DJs every once in a while and do a short Q&A after the mix about what inspires them. I’m about 35 mixes in now. I play a whole lot of modern jungle (mostly 2017 and later).

Each Episode is a livestream that I do: most Thursdays at 8pm EST on Mixcloud, and they each get a name that coincides with the theme of what I played. The stereo recorded stream gets ran through a mastering chain in Logic, and uploaded to Mixcloud the Monday after every show, and the track list gets posted to instagram

I’m running two Technics SL-1200M3D’s with matching Ortofon 2M Black carts.

✌🏻 stay inspired

Any info on this project? Other than their bio “Straight outta Bristol, the Toaster Soul Project serves up four heavyweight cuts of mental lofi jungle”?
Their Myor Massiv 15 release is slammin!

No skips.
