So on our final walk through, we discovered water in the basement. The floors were lifted and warped and we were concerned for mold issues. We have 2 small kids . We postponed the close and seller agreed to fix and find the source of the leak. So far they are saying it’s the water treatment system that was leaking. We are obviously going to ask for the receipts and documentation of the repairs. Would something like this turn you off from closing?
