Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, & De-Influence

Edit: I’m very aware of microplastics. I get it but nearly everything we eat is wrapped or sealed in plastic or even wear. This is a temporary solution until a newbie finds a cost-effective mug or, like me, someone who is moving and has no cups yet. I’d rather rinse & reuse a cup a few times til I can get a proper travel mug than throw away multiple plastic cups. Everything is a trade off

This is just a friendly de-influencing reminder that you, especially new matcha lovers, do not have to buy some fancy wick jar or whatever to house your matcha!

1st pic: I was traveling to visit family and stopped in a cute matcha shop. I kept the cup and have been reusing it for weeks now as my travel-to-work cup. There’s no need to go on Amazon and buy a special cup when cups already exist.

2nd pic: If you really get into matcha, you’ll probably start making your own syrups and purées. That’s not salsa but strawberry puree in a reused salsa jar!

Just know you don’t have to break the bank or let TikTok influence you to spend money where you don’t have to if you’re not completely sold on it. And hey, the more money you save in this area means more money for the actual matcha
