Has anyone had success getting a dash cam set up AND still being able to use Apple CarPlay?

I bought a dashcam (Redtiger front & back camera) and in the process of setting it up was having issues with the wireless Apple car play staying active while the dashcam was also connected and recording.

After some googling I found out that the Apple CarPlay is using both Bluetooth and WiFi (why???) so when my phone is connecting to the dashcams WiFi it will kick the Apple CarPlay off from being able to be used.

Someone help me figure this out 🤣
