Hello!

Has anyone had any experience with collecting a hire car from one of the ports?

We are looking to arrive by ferry and collect a hire car but I can't seem to see any offices at the ports and those which are nearby don't seem to be open over the weekend, is this correct or am I missing something? My Google also suggests that you can't just pick up a taxi at the ports on arrival, is that true too?

We have the option of a villa in the south that has a Sunday start or a villa in the north with a Saturday start so I'm trying to work out the logistics before booking.
