Hi Team,

Management team is looking move bunch of remote location file/print servers to one center server at the main office. Just want to check if anyone has managed 50+ printers on one virtual machine without issues or used any other free solution. Paid solution is not option at the moment.

What we currently have.

We have 8-10 remote sites with each sites having virtual machine acting as file and print server.

Now Management want to all printers installed on one Windows server vm. I just want make sure that I would not be running into any major issues or any alternative solution.

I'm worried if I have to restart printer spooler services I would loose all the jobs running or pending multiple printers or printing issues like delay printing,etc.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm hoping I can get some clarity on how this Onedrive retention works now days.

Here is what we have.

- We have 365 Days retention policy setup under Onedrive setting. No Purview retention policy setup.

- Our normal off boarding process is, once the user account is disabled, you still have license for 30 days, license is removed and after 90 days, account is deleted from local AD which is synced to Azure AD.

From what I understand is, You are given up to 60days after the license is removed from account, you can assign permission to onedrive files to be accessed by their manager. After 93 days it goes into archive status which mean you won't able to access it unless you reactive it(cost).

My question whether I delete AD account or not after license removal. 93 days policy still applies? Or if account not deleted in AD, it does not go into archive status and is available for access until the Onedrive retention policy ends?

Goal is have the Onedrive files fully access to their manager for some users during the full 365 one drive retention period.

Hope all is well. I have bunch of windows file servers with 300gb+ data.

I’m looking for ways or free programs that can help me identify older files that like say not been modified or read for last 5 years or 10 years and I need to be able move those files to an archives storage while maintaining folder structure in case someone ask us to restore something,

I’m sure I can try generating powershell script for this. Is this better way to look this task? Has anyone done something similar.

I see 3 different model showing on tesla website. What is major difference? I couldn’t find the comparable check list of on their website.

I’m looking for vehicle thats long term use and handle long term durability like better seats and interior . I do not travel long distances other than 1 or 2 trip year either toronto to Niagara falls area Toronto to Montreal.
