I know this is beaten to death, but I'm in the middle of the indx install and my y stepper has always been loud.

I removed both x and y steppers, the x spins in my hand easily and quietly, the y stepper spins with some resistance and almost grinding like sound. This is spinning with fingers.

My question is, are they supposed to be the same or is this normal?

I have opened tickets with prusa chat and sent in videos, and they say the sound while printing is just resonance. But this feels wrong, and while I'm already elbow deep into this tear down, I'm wondering if I rma or just buy a new y stepper.

Can someone please provide some insight on if they are supposed to be the same or different.
