iDrive vs Afi.ai for tenant backups

Hey everyone,

Currently with iDrive for backing up tenants M365. So far no issues other than a clunky interface. They've got local data region, the backups have gone through without issues and covers pretty much everything I need. Even looking into the snapshots seem fine although I haven't gone ahead with a recovery yet. No minimum user count either and pricing - can't complain.

Seeing most people recommend Afi.ai instead so just wondering if there is truly any negatives to anyone that's used iDrive. Afi.ai price is alright and they've got 50gb storage per person which is pooled together but other than the potentially nicer interface and experience, anyone had troubles with iDrive or is it ok for me to stick with them?

Only have a relative amount of clients at the moment so wanting to just continue with iDrive for long-term but if I need to switch early, I'm looking at settling for a good option now hence.

Thanks all!

Best stack to achieve webflow/framer level sites?

Hey all,

Currently using WordPress for projects but thinking about builders or plugin stacks that can achieve the Webflow or Framer level fluidity and design in WordPress?

I don’t really want to switch CMS as I’m comfortable with the integrations WordPress has to offer and currently use Divi 5 for projects although natively it can’t achieve the same level of animations or design skills as a webflow site would have?

Other option was looking at say Blocksy and Greenshift WP as that seems to be nicely working on a site but not exactly sure if it’s the way to go for premium builds?

If anyone has recommendations on free or ltd level builder or stack to use for building premium fluid websites in WordPress that’s easy to use please do suggest and I’d love to give it a go.

Thank you!

Is 1gb ram really feasible for 50 sites?

Hey guys,

Currently I'm hosting my clients on a reseller cPanel account with shock hosting and its been going well. I believe each subaccount has 1cpu and 2gb ram assigned to it and the sites are fairly fast.

I've used WPMUDEV before but not their hosting although it does seem to be promising. I recently noticed their post about Unlimited WordPress Hosting where their lowest plan for $15pm has 1GB ram and 1vcpu and can host approximately 50 low to medium traffic sites.

My current clients are all pretty much low to medium traffic businesses and only have around 10 right now therefore that plan makes sense for me however I don't know how 1gb ram for the whole server would be sufficient. I have a mix of Bricks, Divi and Elementor installs for clients so just considering whether it will be super slow if I decided to switch to WPMUDEV on their unlimited plan?

Thx!
