Seeking Helix LT Post-Rock & Post-Hardcore Tone Advice

**posted this on the FB helix users group too - casting a net**

I've had a Helix LT for a few months and doing my utmost to lock in a rig for my post rock/post metal band, but struggling to get a tone and setup that I'm happy enough with to settle on.

Modelling is new to me (like many I come from a traditionalist setup) and I really want to get the best sound out of this thing that I can.

Anyone in this group that plays similar genres that I could link up with to collaborate with on getting me to where I am, or any Helix specialists that I could reach out to for some help over Zoom/Facetime etc? I don't mind paying for someone's time. YouTube tutorials have only got me so far and I'm struggling to find resources that really help me nail the tone I want (Worship ain't my thing).

For what it's worth, I am ideally looking for tones along the lines of bands like Blackshape, Shy Low, Russian Circles, Thrice -> Mix of post metal/post hardcore tones. Nice crisp cleans with a bit of breakup, Boost, Heavy (without turning to mud), and the usual bells and whistles for this genre -> delay, verb, some modulation etc.

Echoes Fest - Adelaide South Australia

I was one of the very lucky people in little old Adelaide, SA that hit up Echoes Fest this year:
Echoes Festival 2026 | Discover Live Post-Rock

Have to say I was blown away by the local and interstate talent and the organisers put on an amazing show (two stages, no gaps!). Have a look at the link above for the lineup etc, but we're truly blessed to have a growing post rock scene here...

Highlights for me - Meniscus, Treebeard, Spires, We See Moons.... Check em out!
