Happy birthday America!!!!
Today I stopped by my local shop and saw this bottle staring at me when I wasn’t looking for it. Grabbed it immediately thought there was a HH 22yr for $450 also there.
Price paid: 129 (basically bottle plus shipping from what I could find online).
Specs: 10yr, 100 proof/BiB
Nose: Citrus, spice and oak. Little bit of leather.
Taste: Coats the mouth, citrus to somewhat stone fruit, definite spice notes, and sugar.
Finish: Nice long finish, more citrus with some oak, lite cinnamon, and rye spice.
Definitely a treat! I have a bottle of standard Rittenhouse and will compare it.
Score: Solid 8 to 8.5! Glad I found it!
I bought a completed Lego 911 GT3 RS (# 42056) a while ago. Recently I have had the itch to disassemble it and rebuild it. Along the way, I want to perform some updates like the transmission improvement and a few other updates as discussed on Rebrickable.
Before starting the process, does anyone have tips or tricks on the disassembly? I’m looking forward to building it but want to see if others have done this.
Thanks!
Today I decieded to explore other alcohols in an old fashioned. Today I present a rum old fashioned.
