Fake memory on eBay

resellers from China are selling memory as genuine Dell memory, and not only are the labels fake, but the memory itself is fake as well. One reseller, for example, with a 100% positive rating, sold memory labeled as 2RxRank RDIMM 3200, but the chips I received told a different story: 4xRank LR-RDIMM 2666. They were flashed, overclocked, and failing. I reported a few listings on eBay and was ignored, and my reviews were removed. It looks to me like eBay is somehow protecting these resellers, as they seem able to get eBay to remove negative reviews and maintain 100% positive ratings while selling counterfeit products. Be careful with memory as the eBay reviews don’t tell the real story.
