Anyone saying our D-Line’s gonna be garbage this year is forgetting our secret weapon…

NATE OLLIE!

Yes Jalon Walker tore his ACL (praying for proper recovery), yes JPJ got suspended for 8 games.

But this GOAT’s D-Line has been top 5 in sacks for the last 3 years on 3 separate teams!

I fully believe that despite the disintegration that was done to our D-Line this offseason, Nate Ollie and Jeff Ulbrich will draw the very best out of every player on that D-Line. I’m very confident that we will at least be Top 10 in sacks this year.

I hate to be that guy, but when does it get good for us?

Im not even thinking about the preseason games rn or anything related to that. But after Jalon Walker torn ACL, JPJ 8 game suspension, terrible qb play, decaying offensive tackles and many more. When does it start to get good for us?

Like should I have hope with this new regime, in the coaching and management, or is it already screwed. We’ve been dealt a shit hand for 8 years consecutively, like seriously when should we expect to compete or be decent at the very least?

You guys think Bijan feels disrespected, with everyone else receiving contracts?

Don’t get me wrong Ian should be paying some of these guys, we need them. Like Drake London, I totally understand great player worth the contract.

But Kyle Pitts before Bijan????

And now Matthew Bergeron too before Bijan, while Bijan our best skill position player since Julio Jones, is currently in a hold out for a new contract.

I know Matthew Bergeron is a great player but I would much rather pay Bijan his contract (even if it makes him the highest paid rb of all time).

I’m just hoping he doesn’t start to get annoyed like Baker with the Buccs, cause he’s by far our best player, and without him we’re lowkey bottom feeder garbage.

How will Onsi tighten/clean up the roster?

For reference I’m new to watching the NBA and I’m not completely sure how roster management works.

At the moment, I could be wrong, but the Hawks have 17 players on a standard contract on their roster. Since you can only have 15 people as mostly everyone knows, how can Onsi tighten the roster to meet the needs. Like is it through a trade or cuts of some sort?

Also if we’re starting to get crammed for roster spots, what’s the point of trading for players like Devin Carter who might not even make the roster?

If anyone could give me any insight that would be cool

Anyone else very excited for preseason?

Im not sure why, but im almost more hyped for preseason over the regular season. Something about watching meaningless football with little worries about team performance while also being able to point out new falcon draftees making big plays is very fun yet relaxing to me.

Everybody already knows this, but those throwback uniforms are really something special

Obviously they look very nice, but in case some have forgotten they literally make the team play better as we beat the bills and the rams last year with the uniforms on while we were humiliated by the panthers and jets without them. We’re also 16-3 all time with them on which is further proof of their impact.

I don’t know what it is with them but I firmly believe that a team of high schoolers and retirement home residents could genuinely beat any all time football team as long as those uniforms are in play.

When the Falcons make it back to the playoffs if they use the throwbacks throughout all their games it’s a guaranteed Super Bowl win.

When would we find out if/when James Pearce Jr. would get a suspension from the league?

It would have to be soon I’m assuming, is there a set date, or is it possible that nothing comes out given that it’s already been a little while since the charges have been dropped?

Big Hypothetical, on Myles Garrett trade

If you were Ian Cunningham and James Pearce Jr. had never meddled with Rickea Jackson or had any charges pressed against him/character concerns.

Would you send James Pearce Jr and next years first round pick for Myles Garrett given the Falcons current situation?

Is this the deepest point in the offseason?

I’ve been lately trying to determine how deep does the NFL offseason really go, we know the lows are very low. But what date is the real furthest/driest point of the Falcons offseason?

What does one do this deep in the offseason?

Which one of the day 3 picks do you think could be of immediate impact for us?

I don’t follow college football closely so I’m not well informed on the guys the Falcons drafted in rounds 4,5,6,7. But do you think there are any difference makers who might start for the team within the first few weeks of the NFL season?

It would be cool if we found another late round gem, like last year with Billy Bowman.

First off I want it to be clear that I love the Avieon Terrell draft pick, I think he’s a great player and I’m super surprised he slipped to us given how before, he was being projected mid to late in the first round. Which makes me wonder why he slipped that far, if any of you guys know?

But that being said, do you guys think he still gets drafted to us if he wasn’t related to Aj? Basically I’m asking if he was overall the best player on the board for us at our draft position.
