Got one in Ziro last week and now I want a few more. where do you get the proper hand forged ones not the market stuff? happy to travel a bit
So I'm a solo traveller from Kerala, currently in Aizawl. I've been dealing with insomnia, so I end up going for long walks pretty early in the morning and also really late at night, like around midnight.
There's this one spot I keep passing and I've seen the same kind of thing happen more than once now. It's on the main road, maybe 100-200 meters from 1964 cafe. First time it was a young girl, on her own, clearly high. Then another morning there was a guy and a woman, both looking high too, with dealers standing right there in front of them. There were a couple of other people hanging around as well who were most likely dealers. None of it is even hidden.
The young girl stuck with me honestly. I keep thinking about her and it made me really sad.
I know I'm not from here and I don't want to act like I understand what's going on or judge anything. But seeing the same spot like this every time I walk by, I feel like I should do something. Does it make sense to just go to the local police? Or is there a better way to go about it, like an NGO or a helpline or something?
Just asking honestly. Would really appreciate any advice from people who actually know the place.
