We Out Here
Helloooooo,
I’m finally making it to We Out Here this year and was just after some advice as a first time attendee! I’ve tried and failed to persuade my friends for the last few years (we’re up in Leeds) so I’ve given up and decided to go solo. I’ve never been to a festival on my own before so I’m a lil apprehensive… But needs must!
I haven’t been to a camping festival in a LONG time, and I’m having flashbacks of the painful journey between the car park/drop off and the campsite… What’s it like at WOH? I’m going to have to somehow manage to cart all my shit to camp by myself, so need to consider what I pack
People have said that it’s a good festival to head to alone, but I was wondering if anyone had first-hand experience of it and could let me know what it was like? Having a dance and enjoying the music is easy. It looks like there’s all sorts of activities to do, but I’m a lil nervous of getting stuck in on my own haha
I’ve made life-long friends at festivals, they’re often a very friendly place!!! It’s just slightly daunting. I can’t be the only one, but I’m wondering if many people do it?
I’d also like to know what security’s like getting in AND around the festival - I’d rather not have to pay silly amount for beer (are drinks expensive???) and also not get stuff confiscated before it’s even begun!!!
Lastly, if anyone sees a curly haired girl wandering about on her own, please do wave hello!
