I’m working on the gauge swatch for the Step by Step sweater by Florence. The pattern calls for worsted weight but the yarn I really want to use is DK.

The swatch wants 16x20 stitches. I got 17x21. I know I can increase my needle size but I worry this will make the sweater “holey”.

Is there a way to make this work given some math to do a larger size or should I just look for a DK sweater pattern?

New knitter and working camisole no.9 and my pattern says to pick up and knit 6 sts along the cast on edge. Every time I go into what I think is the furthest right stitch I only get 5.

Of course I did in on the wrong side of the strap and had to frog and now I can’t get this side to work.
