All hands on deck for this WEIRD PROBLEM

First things first, I’m not an appliance tech, however, I am mechanically inclined and dabbled in all things repair and restoration.

Alright, the problem.

I hired a tech to come fix my machine for a leak.

And when he left, my control panel on a WTW7120HW0 is acting real weird.

I had another tech come out, and between him and I we can’t figure it out.

Should I just get a new machine? This WAS NOT a problem I was having initially at all.

When I turn it on, I get F3E5 Dispenser not detected. Please add detergent manually. I don’t ever have the dispenser in and normally telling it once saves that info indefinitely. When I go to press a button to say ok, every button acts as a power button.

The only way I can get the control panel to act normally is if I unplug for 30ish seconds and then plug back in. I can complete 1 wash before this error acts up again. I will also get the error during the wash, but it doesn’t not affect the control panel the same way.

Today I tried the service mode. And was experiencing the same error popping up, this time the buttons were still working, however it would reset where I was in service mode.

I ran a calibration cycle and it kept starting over. When I hit back to get out of it, it kept going. I turned the machine off, and it kept going. I had to unplug it to get it to stop. Kind of scary! lol. Video of that at the drive link below. It not powering down until I unplugged it is at the very end.
