too much grass for a donkey?

hello! i’m looking at buying a donkey or two. however, im concerned we have too much grass. i do have a dryer lot i could keep them on at night, but would they be able to be in this pasture all day? also, what breeds do better on grass? i’m new to donkeys and considering them as pasture buddies for my two geldings.

help me with fencing!

we just bought this property and are wondering how we can improve it to make it ready for goats. I know for a fact, the poly tape will not keep them out, but I’m wondering if this wire fencing is good enough? i’m going with no; my husband thinks some breeds would be fine, provided we fix the opening under tack room and next to arena. wanting to hear people’s opinions. I may add that the top is an electric fence.

give me opinion on this mini horse’s hoof

hey everyone , looking at purchasing a mini. she seemed pretty healthy, other than her feet. i have… questions. the frogs were deep into her hoof, if that makes sense. i got the vibe that when i picked her feet, they hadn’t been picked in awhile (one stunk worse than thrush and the smell lingered on me the whole drive home). she didn’t seem bothered when i picked her feet, though. i just got the impression her feet haven’t been cared for. owner said she got the horse over 6 mths ago and she was shy etc, and they had to work with her. i am trying to figure out if her feet have been neglected by her current owners, or if her feet were bad before purchase and can be fixed. any input is great.

mini horse feet look… different ?

i went to go check out my first mini today. this is what her feet look like. seems thrushy on one hoof, but overall they look odd? not sure how healthy these feet are, if someone can educate me!
