Looking back at pre-Covid prices

I was looking back at my eBay purchase history earlier and I was shocked at how different prices were not even 10 years ago. What happened 😭

Remembering pre-Covid prices

Hey, all. I'm a beginner at VHS digitization, and I was wondering if the experts here could help me with an audio issue on this VHS tape. As you can hear in the video, the sound is clipping out consistently. This issue persists throughout the hour-and-a-half runtime. Is this an issue with the tape itself, or is there something I can do on my end to fix it? For context, this is a standard VHS cassette from 2000. The previous two tapes that I recorded had zero audio issues, and I just cleaned the audio heads with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and lint-free foam swabs this morning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My setup:

I'm currently using a JVC HR-S3800U S-VHS deck, outputting directly via S-Video. For the analog-to-digital conversion, I'm using an IO-DATA GV-USB2 and capture the feed in OBS before making my final trims in LosslessCut. I do not currently have a dedicated external TBC.
