Who had the more disappointing season: TOR or SEA?

I recently read an Athletic report that the Mariners fired Dan Wilson. This is of course old news, but as I got to the bottom, one particular line caught my eye:

>Moving on from Wilson, though, is less about individual moves than the collective underachievement of a roster that seemed poised to build off last year’s momentum, but instead became the majors’ biggest disappointment.

I'm not trying to feel a certain way, but objectively speaking, was Seattle's season more disappointing than ours, and what evidence do you point to to support your claim?

Is this BDP set really worse than this FB set?

I'm running Fingers (FB 6/Fin 8/Mess 7) and Sutter (BPD 6/Boss 8/Fin 7) at SU1 and SU2 respectively, and both are running rising fastball specialist (Sutter's is slightly better). Fingers has a FB1 DST while Sutter has a BPD2 DST. I would have thought that Sutter would do better, but Fingers' ERA is meaningfully lower despite normally allowing a higher OPS. Any idea what the reason might be and how I can make Sutter better? I rolled PChem on Fingers and want to move him to LR, but if the ERA gap has widened to 1.3 runs, that's a big hit to take.
