It's been a while for the circle, and I wanted to celebrate Okamoto's recent homer and rookie record. Congrats Oak on a great rookie year, and looking forward to seeing what you can do in the future.

I’ll start: Grateful for the fun baseball this year, give something to listen on slow days at home. Sometimes you all share some interesting things and I think it's cool to connect with other fans. We've also been doing this a while here and there and suggestions are welcome.

Now it's your turn:

Was really fun watching this team last season and seeing how an entire country rallied behind the Jays. Not trying to karma farm or anything, I just genuinely thought it was really cool seeing how much the Blue Jays meant to Canada and how everyone seemed to come together behind them. It felt like a whole nation had something to rally around. Would be awesome to see that again and have the Jays back in the postseason.

The Toronto Blue Jays have been holding out for a hero, just one bat to carry an offence desperate for star production. From the quiet corner of the clubhouse, a new contender has emerged in Alejandro Kirk.

During Toronto’s 11-6 August, a hot streak the Jays extended with a 10-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday, the pitching and defence have been pristine. Their team ERA this month (2.87) entered Tuesday as the best in baseball. The fielding by Outs Above Average (plus-eight) leads the American League.

The runs, though, remain hard to come by. Except for Kirk.
