Jays playoff odds have increased from 4.3% to 32.1% in under a month

The Blue Jays were sitting 5 games back in the American League wild-card race on August 6, 2026, according to Sportsnet. At that time, we were 8 games under 500 and FanGraphs playoff odds hit a season-low of 4.3%.

Now, after today's win, we are only one win away from .500 and playoff odds have increased more than 7X to 32.1%. Still a lot of work to do, but this hot stretch has put them in the drivers seat of getting back to October baseball again, something that most of us thought wasn't possible back only a month ago. Been loving the ride and hoping it continues.
