anyone else have this issue? the data was there 1-2 days ago
In the last week or so my profile is now showing ‘Best of 2026’ efforts, the map of my recent run started moving and then tonight it added this image of my strength workout (I upload directly from my watch) that I just can’t seem remove.
Anyone else annoyed by this or am I just becoming a grumpy old lady?
Any body here also having issue with Strava regarding the approval of their API Request limit? I’ve submitted to the last April and they said the review would take 7-10 business days.
It’s almost at the end of May now and hasn’t received a feedback yet. I did like a couple of follow ups already.
No luck.
Needing to flag people taking KOMs in cars was bad, but Strava's auto-flagging is worse. Every week I'll have some commutes on my cyclocross bike auto-flagged as ebike rides and now they've made it so you can't just correct it but instead have to submit an appeal to support. This isn't worth my time. I've terminated my Strava subscription. You would think that with over a decade of my performance data, the algorithm would know that these rides are nothing special. If anyone else has a permanent solution to this problem that doesn't involve deliberately riding and accelerating slower to appease the faulty algorithm, or falsely declaring a ride as something it's not (like declaring a normal bike ride as an ebike ride or as an 'other' activity) I'm all ears.
On Tuesday noon I went for a ride which I estimated to be about 10 miles + -. I started Strava, RWGPS and my Apple series 9 watch. I noted that Strava and RWGPS were paused.
Horrors! Strava showed 1.8 miles and was finished as the map showed.RW GPS showed 8.9 miles and was paused. The Apple Watch showed about about 8.9 miles also
But I had stopped the watch as I had finished the ride.
That was not the first time Strava ended a ride before it was actually finished.
So you see Strava is quite unreliable. Other niggling things for example I did a 33 mile ride in January. It labeled that ride has the ride with the greatest distance to that point since then I’ve had several other rides which went further, but that road is still called my longest another thing when I walk I use one of two pairs of shoes. One is the Brooks. And the other is the orthofeet boot.
I can save the BROOKS as my equipment, and I can even find Orthofeet listed but clicking on it and save does nothing.
Strava has lots of neat things, but if it can’t do the simplest which is maintaining distance traveled - who needs it?
Recently Strava has inserted “focus” and “instant workouts” at the top of the “Progress” page in the app. I go there for stats and have to scroll past both of those to get to what I want to see. I don’t use focus or instant workouts yet they are now holding prime real estate in the app. It seems Strava doesn’t allow us to hide them. I’m tired of Strava pushing extras above the basic function, without giving the ability to hide them.
I used to be able to check my progress for active challenges under Groups>Active. Monthly Challenges, segment challenges, etc. The progress would be shown as a horizontal bar graph. But now, it is gone. Any updates on this?
Basically all the activities in my feed, whether they are mine or someone else's, are displaced not too far from the actual route. While I'm not going to share my activity for privacy reasons, mine showed my running route to be going through a lot of swamps and through people's houses, which was definitely not correct because I ran mostly on roads and sidewalks the entire time.
The weird thing is, if I open the activity itself, the map goes back to normal, for mine and others' activities. Additionally, this issue is also present for me on mobile AND desktop, so I have no idea what to do. I have already restarted my phone and uninstalled/reinstalled Strava on my phone, and none of that worked.
How is this still not fixed? I feel like it’s been this way for years.
Adding shoes on Strava still uses that massive scrolling list with every brand imaginable instead of a simple searchable dropdown. Finding your brand takes way longer than it should.
Such a tiny UX change would make the experience much smoother.
What’s your biggest Strava UX annoyance?
Any one else noticing syncing issues between peloton and strava? Yesterday my peloton activity synced to strava about an hour or so late and today my activity has yet to sync. I double checked and ensured that everything is set up and connected properly. Just curious if it’s just me or not
I have a Samsung S24 Ultra and a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
I've installed Strava on both devices.
When I record from the Samsung native app, I get heart rate data.
But I don't get it if I record using Strava.
After I checked, the permissions on the Vital is missing from Strava permissions. Other applications, such as Hevy, has the permission.
I have tried reinstall Strava without luck.
Any idea what's happening?
As a data nerd I analyse and plot my own running data.
To my surprise I find that my runs since adopting Strava resemble Europe a bit.
You got spain/france, and a botched british island and skandinavia and even a black sea with a little good will.
My highlight is italy actually being a boot :D
I'm having some health issues and other life circumstances that will make it very difficult to keep a streak going. I want to opt out of the whole streak thing to avoid notifications to myself and others for constantly hitting the lower milestones or failing to do so, then starting all over again.
How do I opt out/turn off the streak system?
Hello,
Is there an outage on Strava right now? Everywhere I click around it says "Sorry, you don't have access to this page.
Please make sure you have entered the correct URL or go back to Strava.com to keep exploring. Visit the Strava Support site for further assistance."
only seen on a couple other activities by people in this same area, seems like a localized beta test! shows for other people viewing my activity too.
didn’t animate it in other areas, only started when i logged activities here. no toggle or setting changed or even available either.
looks cool on loops but pretty goofy on track workouts
What the hell is wrong with this platform’s technical support? I submitted a claim nearly a month ago about an unauthorized overcharge on my account through the app, and I haven’t received any response. The worst part is that the only “direct” communication channel is through the app — there are no emails or human assistants who can help me. Does anyone know what I can do to get my money back? Considering I can prove that I never used such services!
Is there any way to turn it on. Because of this strava is not recording my activities unless I keep my screen turned on, which drains charge for long duration activities.
Anyone have experience with Runna? I keep getting ads now for it.
What is it supposed to be?
What is actually?
What is the ai like? Can you interact with it?
It is worth the money? I’d be open to redirecting my Strava budget that direction. I only use Strava to track data but as time goes on, I am not sure that I am getting any better insights than Apple Health provides.
I am only running because I enjoy it and to stay fit, I am not training for races. Would I still enjoy Runna?
I don’t mind spending money if there is value in it. Trying to determine if I should give Runna a shot.
I recently got this bottle from a collaboration between The Feed and Strava and selected the watt monster because he’s cute. I know barely anything about biking and I think I only have one bike ride logged - that being said, is this wattage high? I cant find any wattage listed in my app, where was this statistic pulled from?
