I made a free app, Mystery Run, that lets you run surprise GPS art with Strava
There’s no planning required - just integrate with Strava, select the distance, then follow the turn by turn directions. When you finish, you’ll see what you’ve drawn and, it’ll automatically post to Strava for you.
There are 42 drawings available, including a couple only available on holidays.
I’ve personally found it really fun to add variety to my running routes, and as long as I run in the morning (e.g. 7am) there’s not many people on the sidewalks. I’ve gotten way more strava kudos, and look forward to the runs.

I subscribed for many years, but no longer. What broke it for me was their legal shenanigans and the every increasing use of dumb, and frequently wrong, AI crap. There apps are no longer reliable in the Apple world and their only suggestion is a factory reset of all involved devices. Did that once and a few weeks later is was back to being broken again. Not going through that pain again. So, no money for them until they focus on fixing their core application instead of pushing AI crap and selling merch. And don't even get me started on their push to eliminate bogus KOMs which still leave segments with dozens of 60+ mph riders who've done 200+ miles on the day.

I click on the notifications but keep getting an error message. I am able to clear out notifications on a web browser, which tells me it’s an iPhone app issue. I’ve tried logging out and then back in. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded. I checked to ensure the app is updated. I tried restarting my phone. Nothing so far. Any help would be appreciated!
I was running a half marathon on 14th km about to hit 15, suddenly the app starts flickering, my phone switched off. I turn it on, open the app and suddenly the distance is 21.2
The same thing had happened to me a few months ago, also on a half marathon where it switched off exactly as the distance turned 15.
What are peoples thoughts on logging workouts when going to the gym on strava. Im a climber and i was wondering what people think about posting climbing sessions as activities on strava. Despite strava being a running/swimming/cycling app, many people i know log their gym training too. What are your thoughts?

For years, I’ve been “collecting” municipalities while traveling and exploring. I’ve done this simply by recording a GPS activity in each municipality I visit.
I figured there had to be a way to make this more interactive. Fast-forward to today, and Unlock Earth was born! The app syncs with Strava — including your past activities — and lets you collect and unlock municipalities where you’ve recorded GPS activities.
For now, it’s only available on iOS.
The Android version is ready, but I need a whole bunch of beta testers before it can be approved there.
Hab beim stalken (ich weiß dumm) aus Versehen Kudos an den Ex meiner Freundin (mit dem es viel Ärger gab) verteilt. Wir wissen glaube ich alle, Kudos kann man nicht mehr löschen.

I’m the developer of Running Browser. It’s a web app for planning training and getting more context from your Strava runs.
It syncs activities automatically and adds weather, training load, effort, shoe mileage and an estimate of what your pace was worth in ideal conditions.
You can also build training plans from 5K to marathon, and completed Strava runs automatically fill your planned sessions.
I’ve been personally using it for years since I created it initially as a spreadsheet formulas, until eventually made it a complete app. It really saves me a lot of time calculating how “fatigued” my body is, and it measures it with more variables than any orher app out there.
Most features are free. Pro is €4.99/month or €39.99/year and adds longer term fitness trends, more history and extra planning tools.
One current limitation: Strava only allows 10 connected athletes while the app is under review, so spots are limited for now.
First time running with my baby, and was shocked to see Strava doesn’t have a stroller run option. Should be a feature!
My phone had low battery and the tracking was pretty dodgy, I cropped it however it is now saying I ran at a pace of 3:08/km which I definitely did not. I cropped the run from 6.6km to 5km (which is my usual run) however can't seem to change the time or pace. Any ideas? I don't want this to be my PB on there when it definitely is not (yet)
