Looking for Android testers: Rig Log, a maintenance and gear log for bikes
I built Rig Log, an app for keeping track of your bikes: what's on them, what you've serviced, and what you want to upgrade next. It's already on iOS, and I'm bringing it to Android. Google requires 12 testers in a closed test before I can release it publicly, so I'm looking for people to try it.
What it does
- Add your bikes (road, gravel, MTB and e-MTB, including motor and battery) and list the components on each one
- Log services, with one entry covering several components, and see what's due for attention
- Keep a planned upgrades wishlist per bike, with notes and photos
- Attach photos and receipts to parts
- Export a sale summary PDF when you sell a bike
- Works as a guest with no account, so you don't have to sign up
How to join the test
- On your Android phone, sign in to Google with the account you use for Google Play.
- Join the tester group here: https://groups.google.com/g/rig-log-testers (tap "Join group").
- Then open this link on your phone and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.unlockearth.riglog
- Install Rig Log from the Play Store page that appears.
Please do me a favour: stay opted in as a tester for 14 days. Google counts testers who stay opted in for that long. Using the app a few times in that period helps most.
The app shows ads, and there's an optional one-time purchase called Rig Log Pro. You don't have to buy anything to test. If you want to try the purchase flow and tell me how it goes, that's useful feedback too.
