Recently fell in love with the EV4 and with the world state as it is, it might just be the time for it.
I am currently considering getting the red one in the air variant, with heat pump and drivewise. Is that necessary? Would you recommend anything else? What are your experiences with the additional equipment etc?
Hi, everyone. I drove my new EV4 AIR over 500 km yesterday.
I’m very pleasantly surprised: power consumption (15 kWh/100 km), range (58-kWh battery), charging speed—everything is much more relaxed than I had expected. A top-notch car.
The only thing that was a bit surprising and disappointing was that, without the Drive Wise package, the AIR unfortunately doesn’t have a blind-spot warning system at all.
Otherwise, the Passat looks like the smaller car next to it, even though the EV4 is actually in the compact class.
Sitting in my car, which has been off for 20 minutes while I wait for an event to start, and all of a sudden the air system turns on and is running as if the car is on.
What’s up with that?
I’m from the UK, and typically turn off the lane keeping aid, speed limit alert, speed limit change alert and driver alert systems whenever I get in the variety of hire cars I’m borrowing currently.
But now I’m looking at getting a lease vehicle for four years I’d prefer to have a car where I can easily switch this off with the use of one or maybe two buttons, rather than multiple difference touch screen sub menus as is the case on Ford, Peugeot Mercedes and VW vehicles I’ve had recently.
Can I favourite switching off these features each time I start the car (can be up to 10 times per day for work) by assigning them all to the same button/shortcut? Or can only one function be assigned to each button?
