I’m from here too and it’s been a rough one especially since around Fourth of July when the storms have really ramped up. I find it funny how much Mark misses LA, compared to some of the other Barstool people who moved to Chicago from NYC. Nick, KB, Ebo, Connor, Big T, etc, all seem to enjoy Chicago a lot more than NYC, at least based on the way you hear them talk about it. Soon enough it will be shitty and cold again here though. At least we have Octigley around the corner. Family

Scoof

I believe there is a body of evidence, that Connor is a lying snake. He will flip flop on any issue and say anything to make himself appear to be positive and in the right in any situation. He’s a bitch.

Jersey numbers/retirement

Call me stupid, but I’ve always hated the idea of jersey retirement and I think the fellas were on a good track today. I prefer how European soccer teams treat hallowed numbers, where an important player is allowed to wear a special number, like the best player on France is the 10. I think it would be much cooler if, I don’t know, Aaron judge was given 3 on the Yankees because the franchise was like hey this dude is special enough he s allowed to have Ruth’s number on his back.

Connor Griffin Pulse Check

First of all, family.

I can't help but notice in the YouTube comments of not just today's show, but increasingly over recent weeks, people complaining about Connor being obnoxious and even suggesting he be replaced.

I'll be honest, I have always loved Connor on the show. Mark and Brandon carry it obviously, but to me he's a perfect side character. He feels like the little brother that everyone rags on, but he genuinely is responsible for so many of the show's highlights from the Star Wars murder mysteries, to the Brownsburg trip, to the girl bully, etc.

I feel like because we are in a lull in the sports calendar, Brandon and Mark have spammed the "make fun of Connor" button pretty heavily. The vibe from the commenters has shifted from "he's a weirdo, but he's our special boy" to "this guy sucks." But I can't imagine the show without him and would never want him to leave.

So I ask the family: has your opinion of Connor genuinely shifted or is he the same guy?

Why do they do the grid incorrectly?

Relatively new listener here...is this a bit? Maybe just a way they choose to play the grid? They're always trying to get a high percentage answer, when the point of the game is to do the complete opposite.

I found this on accident

I like to watch old Mostly Sports episodes while working or chilling out. A comfort-show kind of thing. But when I started watching this episode..... Hannah and Austin come up. Not on purpose, but TJ gave it away almost a year ago exactly!!!! 😂😂😂 It's in the first 5 minutes of the show starting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeGUPlD8B5Y
