I (20M) consider myself supportive of trans people, but that doesn't mean I'm not confused sometimes, but I don't want to ask it to someone directly in case it comes off as offensive.
For example if someone who had previously identified has a man or a boy transitions and now identifies as a woman, does it only refer to their gender or also their sex?
There's sometimes confusion and disagreement as to whether 'sex' and 'gender' mean the same thing, but from my understanding 'gender' is a social construct and what someone presents themselves as per societal norms, and someone's sex refers to their biological attributes.
So if this person who transitioned from man to woman would it then also change their sex from male to female or does it stay the same? I also ask this because if someone transitions it is referred to as 'transgender' as opposed to 'transsex' so some clarification would be great!
Of course dappled forests should be much larger, a recent trend Mojang has had with making smaller scale biomes compared to older ones like plains, forests, taigas, etc. But there's also so much more they could do in terms of biome aesthetic
In terms of mobs, the biome is really quite lacking, only really having the common farm animals (apparently foxes spawn in there but I haven't seen any). I think there are many ways to increase the biodiversity of these forests such as a new wolf variant, or just have an existing one spawn here, as wolves spawn in most forested biomes now except the dark forest, so it'd be fitting to include them here.
Many people have spoken about adding a new animal/mob with this biome. Bears and beavers are quite common suggestions. However, I think an animal that Minecraft is quite lacking in is birds. There are only 2 types of birds in Minecraft, that being the chicken and the parrot, which is quite small despite being possibly the most common wild animal to come across, especially in a forest. Having birds chirping can also add to the ambience and help the biome feel more alive.
Wolves in Minecraft are much slower than the player despite being much faster than humans irl
Usain Bolts top speed was 44 km/h
Grey Wolves can run up to 60 km/h
I know Wolves have been buffed in the past with armour and increased health, but it'd be quite cool if they had faster movement speed as well as better ai (NOT GEN AI)
It was working well for a bit, but then they stopped spawning. I checked to make sure there was no iron golem spawning underground and everything is still inside where they should be. The villagers with 3 beds at the front and the zombie in a boat in the back, and I can hear they're still running around.
Can anyone try to help and diagnose the problem here?
The dog is the most popular human support class, as well as being the earliest implemented in the game.
I think they are still the best human support in the current meta with having many uses as a support and are often the most loyal, as well as often help improve physical human stats. I also believe they bring a certain charm to the game when you have them as a support, but that can happen with any support.
As a human player myself with a dog as a support, this may seem biased but I truly believed they are unrivalled in the current meta.
The cat is also widely popular, however, I don't think they offer nearly the same utility as the dog.
Historically, the horse used to rival the dog, however, due to human creations in the game, the horse has become rather obsolete as a transportation support.
