Gadgets are boring and unfun to play

The first set of nerfs to combo spinner made sense, especially since it could go through walls and charge super but the most recent nerfs just make it much more annoying to use, it my first day of the latest patch and I can't even remember how many times I died to a one shot enemy after seeing the number 2990. I'm not saying he didn't need Nerfs. The nerfs are completely understandable. It's just such an annoying scenario that happened way too many times for my first day playing the newest patch.

Creature of the night is also hot trash. Slow movement, low damage, long ass cooldown, and incredibly situational. I don't care if it makes you invulnerable. Enough time has passed to where players are smart enough to tell you end up after the teleport and burst you down after the fact.

For shits and gigs, I'd like to share some ideas for a survival shovel with buffies

  1. Among the same old double reload speed, each consecutive hit landed during the speed gadget, and each hit goes up by 100 damage. For example, let's say you're in solo showdown, and there's a low hp jessie near her turret, you activate the gadget and long dash to hit her turret which does the same 2000 damage, and then chain into another attack dashing from the turret hitting it once more which showing 2100 damage and that same dash hitting jessie which would then ramp up the current damage to 2300 which gets jessie one shot to allow you to finish her off with that 2300 damage. The damage ramp up caps at 2500 and remains for the remaining duration of the speed gadget. 18-second cooldown

  2. This is less as crazy as the first one. It's just a simple self-healing for every hit for the duration of the gadget, 600 hp each dash landed 16-second cooldown

  3. For this last one, it's a little different. Upon activation, mortis gets a 15% movement speed increase, and his super start charging over time for the duration of the gadget, so those little slivers of super charge required will just fill in once the gadget is active. 16-second cooldown

MVC2 Iron Man Infinite

Most of us, by now, know about the Iron Man infinite in Marvel vs Capcom 2. It isn't the easiest combo to land, so I spent literal days trying to find a way to combo into that infinite with just Iron Man alone. Unfortunately, I don't have footage but I can try and explain what it is that if found, disclaimer, I'm not taking credit for this combo into infinite set up since I'm pretty sure someone else has figured it before me and I don't know if this is super well known among the MVC2 community.

Now, let's actually talk about what I managed to find-

  1. It starts off with a simple starter, Lp or Lk into Hk,

  2. from there, Iron Man will jump up into Up-Hp and then air dash down immediately after

  3. If timed right, Lp and Up-Hp should both be able to land in the air, which then leaves open enough room for a Re-jump into the infinite combo

Things I've noticed, this combo tends to work extremely well on Bigger profile characters such as Sentinel, and almost as well on much smaller profiles such as Roll and Servbot. There are many minor changes that can be done to better your chances of landing this extremely tight combo, things such as jumping into the opponent after Hk which then makes it easier to land the Air dash down into Lp and Up-Hp. I will say, whether it's a simple straight jump into a straight air dash down or something completely different, such as Angled Jump into backdownard air dash into Lp then Up-Hp, each character seems to be different, it would be safe to assume that for each character, the combo works with different timings and whatnot but unless you want to spend hours in the lab finding the most optimal varieties of the said combo, then by all means but I personally think this combo is very low risk since if you don't land it in the air, the most your opponent can do is block or mash and probably get hit. Like I said, there are many tiny variations that can be done to better accommodate many different factors, but I'm not at that state of a fighting game player to memorize absolutely all variations of this combo. If yall want me to, I can try and find a way to get footage of all possible routes and maybe even try on different characters just to show the different things that can happen and better show what I mean about the different tiny variations done.
