Optimal settings that we should be running.

Is there a chart or some data points that someone has run a Kill-a-watt on the unit on various settings and configs? Surely someone has.

I'm wondering stuff like: Cool mode with Medium Fan vs High Fan. Fan mode with Medium Fan vs High Fan. Cool mode vs Fan mode. Auto mode vs Cool mode. Etc. I'm trying to find out if there's a large or tiny gap in watt usage in different configurations. What is the most efficient and the most ideal for mold prevention.

I am planning to keep this machine on 24/7 to prevent mold. If the cost is minimal then I'll just run everything on high speed, max, etc. Or maybe even let's say running the Fan on Medium will do the job fine and I could save some money and the longevity of the machine. Currently my plan is Cool mode with High Fan during the day then Fan mode with High Fan during the night since the room is unoccupied. What do you think? What do YOU use?

Slate cover not waterproof

Slate 36” with official Weber cover. After rain, I have areas that pool water. Cover is not waterproof and water collects inside. I’ve tried a dome bowl on top to create a steeper water fall but the sides and the seam areas are still a problem. 1) is this an issue to worry about long term? 2) trash it and get a different cover? if so, any recs? 3) what are other owners doing to solve this besides a dome bowl?

Slate sticky everywhere

New Weber Slate. Messed up the initial seasoning because it started to slightly rain. Panicked and shut off heat too early and had pooling. Scraped and tried to level and just kept reseasoning.

This is after 5 coats. Looks acceptable but it’s sticky/tacky everywhere including the outside rim. Should I just accept this or should I redo from scratch? I read about sticky seasoning and how it doesn’t go away from general use.
